Patrick J. Keating Scholarship Fund
Patrick could spot the potential in others, often before they saw it themselves, and the Patrick J. Keating Scholarship Fund provides critical scholarship support to students who are the first in their family to attend college, have economic hardships and actively engage with Florida State University’s student success program the Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement (CARE). This critical program recruits, retains and supports FSU’s most promising students.
Patrick Keating graduated from FSU in 1975 and served as General Manager for WFSU Public Media until his retirement in 2015. He died suddenly in August, 2018, and this scholarship for his beloved alma mater is established in his memory.
